Risks of hypertension

The higher your blood pressure levels are, the more at risk of developing other health problems, such as heart disease, heart attacks, or cardiovascular disease.

Your doctor may diagnose high blood pressure and make treatment decisions, reviewing your blood pressure levels and comparing them to levels set in national and international guidelines.

There are usually no signs or symptoms of alertness in hypertension, in fact, many people don’t know they have it. Making a constant measurement is the only way to know if you have high blood pressure.

Hypertension can harm your health in many ways. It could damage important organs, such as the heart, brain, kidneys, and eyes.
